Based on memory and things my mother had, I am placing this from the 1940s -1950s, but I am not positive.
8 1/2 tall, 5 inches wide, it is larger than it seems to sound to me.
The original large rubber gasket that was what ensured freshness in these old containers is no longer with it, but the original white ceramic lid is almost perfect. I see only one tiny place that may be a scratch.

Most Rita Marie offerings are previously loved family treasures from estate sales. They have been loved, used, and may not always be perfect. That is the true beauty of a recycled, repurposed treasure, that we have reclaimed it and created a thing of beauty to be enjoyed by yet another. With imperfections comes character and a different kind of beauty. AGAIN, this has but one place on the lid I can see, and it is barely noticeable. You can see this in one of the photos.
