Originally (and still) bamboo, but no longer looking worn like it needed some TLC. Painted now a crisp cottage white with the original glass that appears to be the non shatter type since it appears to show a green cast..although it isn't green.
You can use it in either direction for that special place you have in mind since it is the same on all sides.
It is on the longest side 28 inches, width 20 inches and height 22 1/2 inches.
