The shabbiest frame..no print needed...One of the lovely old frames you hang with the wall showing through or something else unique and old hanging where the print would have been...an old key maybe, very old partially tarnished silverware piece, a simply bouquet of dried flowers. Just gather a few flowers, tie them with raffia, hang inside the frame and let them dry there. Very pretty !!!
The size of this frame would hold an 8 x 10. The frame as you see it, without the roses for display, no back on the frame...This is truly an old one.
In its original state as I found it. Gesso is coming off in some places, but that is the nature of these old pieces. Cracked, chippy, worn, just like you like it !
Definitely an " as I found it shabby frame.. truly shabby chic, cottage chic, beach chic.
