These are candle holders to create a romantic or just plain sweet ambience with candles and very pretty cottage chic display pieces when not lit.
Having a cookout? Eating outside or on the screened in porch? What a lovely centerpiece just perfect for an outdoor meal. You can replace the candles for citronella candles to keep the bugs away....much prettier way to do it than those not so pretty orange gold citronella candles.
Isn't it adorable?? Looks like a watering can, but the reticulated (cut out designs) parts are where the light comes through. If you did want to use it for a plant, you would have to line this in plastic or have the plant in a pretty container.
For ease of use in lighting your candle in the 'watering can', there is a base on which the candle sits, so when you lift up the watering can, the candle is on the metal base (looking like the bottom of the watering can) to easily light or blow out the candle. I lit a brand new white candle enclosed in a glass container to show you just how pretty this is when lit. That same candle is included (as a gift) since most people don't keep pillar candles around. I want this to be ready for you to use...It would also make a very unique gift for those who love gardens, roses, summer. You don't have to be a shabby cottage rose chic lover to adore the roses on something in the Summer.

In the little "planter" candle holders, I displayed votive candlelight. The votives do not go with this (as they are ORANGE) so they are not included. But, if you don't mind orange, I will send them along with the set :-)..although in this heat, please remember they are just being 'thrown in' as a little extra. You are not paying for them.
